Account Manager - PPS
1.Prospects and calls on new and existing businesses to increase sales.
2.Communicates with existing customers and manages accounts to ensure customer
3.Creates detailed proposals and quotes.
4.Delivers samples/prototypes to customers.
5.Interfaces with in-house personnel to effectively communicate customer needs,
requests, and design improvements.
6.Completes and updates sales related paperwork.
7.Advises customers regarding package improvements, cost efficiency, etc.
8.Entertains customers and qualified prospects to establish strong working
9.Handles accounts receivable issues.
10.Develops extensive knowledge of the market within the assigned territories
including: size of the market for Greif Products, competitive capabilities and
strategies, and pricing.
11.Recommends appropriate pricing to maintain business or gain market share.
12.Maintains a good relationship with Greif plants servicing customers in the
13.Incorporates and maintains safety observances, including but not limited to,
use of all PPE, ensuring guards and safety features are working, and promoting
good daily safety practices and habits.
14.May train new sales representatives.
15.Performs other duties as assigned.

written communication skills as well as good listening skills. Negotiation
