Working with System Analysts on defining requirements. ∙ Develop and write high-level and detailed design specifications. ∙ Design and build robust Oracle database applications. ∙ Participate in code and design reviews. ∙ Support testing, integration, and deployment efforts. ∙ Ensures applications meet requirements and is error free ∙ Develops technical system documentation ∙ Ensures that applications meet the architectural standards.Supports the operations of existing applications. ∙ When on call, provides timely response and resolution of emergency production questions, issues and defects. ∙Adheres to a production support process.

Requirements
8+ years related experience with Experience in J2EE technologies, design, development and implementation of Client/Server Applications, Web and Enterprise applications in Telecom. ∙ Expertise includes development of distributed multi–tier Client/Server and web–based applications using Service Oriented Architecture ∙ Expertise with the core Java, J2EE technologies in various types of frameworks. ∙ Expertise in working with XML technologies including DTD, XML Schema, XSLT, DOM and SAX Parsers. ∙ Expertise in working with Java services like JDBC, RMI, JNDI, JMS ∙ Expertise in with IBM MQ Series Messaging. ∙ Excellent skills in writing, maintaining, testing and debugging code in applicable programming languages. ∙ Experience with web services. ∙ Experience with XML and HTML and able to generate schemas ∙ Good documenting skills ( Windows Office/Visio/Cvs etc ) ∙ Excellent Unix Shell scripting skills. ∙ Expertise with J2EE specific tools and utilities - WEB SPHERE APPLICATION DEVELOPER STUDIO, TOAD
